I did ride to the coast to watch a SpaceX launch with Andy/Ogre and his wife. Awesome!

I’m still in Davenport waiting for my tribal R3 to get fixed. Air leak on Cyl 1 explains why it was running poorly and backfiring out the TB and I couldn’t get them in balance with TuneECU…

It’s starting to get too hot to ride middays so I want to get up to GA/NC/TN for a week and up through the BRP to NY to attend the Americade Rally.

Two week delay leaving Florida due to bike repairs. The rubber boot that connects the TB’s was leaking at Cylinder 1 and I couldn’t sync them.

I spent a week riding the Dragons Tail, Cherohala Skyway, down to Helen GA, Cherokee & Maggie Valley (sadly, Wheels Through Time MC Museum was closed).

Now I’m working my way northeast to upstate NY to see my folks and attend the Americade MC Rally.

Hey folks. I’m down but not out.

I tore the meniscus in my left knee in Virginia (taking a picture on a grassy knoll) coming up to NY to my hometown of Ticonderoga to attend the Americade Rally.

I got a corticosteroid shot last week but then got a bad bacterial infection over the weekend that is kicking my ass and impacting the knee recovery. Day 3 and still waiting on the second culture test…

Day 5 and at least I can type today and post some pics.

I will head west as soon as I can ride…

Hmm, my new phone saves in HEIF format and all uploads fail. I will look into converting them at some later date…

My pos iPhone does the same thing with no choice to not accept the format. I have to convert every pic before I post. I use iMazing HEIC converter. Simple and just works. Feel better Jim.

I’m not much of a planner but I’ll pass through Sturgis early July at this point.
I want to redo Going to the Sun Road again, cross into Canada and turn left to the Alcan Highway at some point and spend a month in Alaska.

I found a simple way to do the HEIC to JPG conversion directly on my phone.

1. Open Files app and create a new folder “HEIC to JPG”.
2. Open Photos app, select filter at the top and disable videos if you just want pics converted.
3. Select all the photos to be converted.
4. Select Copy

5. Open Files App and Paste into the the new folder name created above.

750 files converted in 1 minute!
Doubles your storage so delete HEIC if no longer needed or the new JPGs after uploading… My new phone has 256GBs so no problem keeping both for awhile…
