Daytona BW - Freedom is not Free Veteran Rig

Hi all.

Just an FYI that I'm alive and well.

It has been almost a year since I downsized from 5,000SqFt to 70SqFt of living space and nearly 10 months on the road completing Lap #1 of the U.S. riding 26,500 miles through 28 states.

It is also nearly the five month anniversary since the Texas anti-biker incident - truly the lowest point on my first years adventure (lifetime of riding actually, congratulations you POS).

There are unequivocally two sides to this story:
1. One based on truth, justice, the American way, global Biker Etiquette and documented facts.
2. And, well, the one that is not.

Sadly, a double top-secret experiment was conducted a while back and I was non-plussed by the results (Failed).

To commemorate this occasion, I commissioned a caricature of this individual as He or She might appear in my dreams.

Eyeball it quickly as it may disappear soon...

Thanks, but there will be no regular postings of my Moto Hobo big trip whilst they are viewable by the Texas Sucia Perra.

I typically don't have good Internet where I camp so it takes some effort to upload material and at this point, I don't want it shared with evildoers.

For now, I'll just post periodic updates of my journey.

I am still touring North America, 47,000 miles and counting, went to Sturgis, rode “Going to the Sun” in Glacier NP, rode the entire PCH from Oregon to San Diego, Death Valley and Vegas again, repairs at R3Turbos, took 1st place in MC Rally in Mexico, crashed in Mexico, got bad dental work in Mexico, wintering in Arizona and Florida before heading north in the summer, broke 200K, blah blah blah.

Actually 1K9 is mad at me because I wouldn't delete your posts, so he doesn't come here anymore . I like the pictures, but I'm not going to like the posts that carry on a vendetta. Let it go, you're letting someone live rent free in your head.

Interesting & my bad. I see he posts twice a day on the old site and I see now he hasn’t posted here since October.

The event will be with me forever but it does not control or impact my daily life.

I rode near the “Sisters” and the 1 year anniversary was this month so it popped up again.

Hello. The recent water shots were from the Yuma Az area and I was staying at Mittry Lake for free on BLM property. Squaw Lake up the road is also nice.

It was actually a bit chilly and windy this year in AZ though and I wish I had stayed in Mexico…

Five days of riding into strong headwinds, construction, semis, elevation related motor efficiency issues and sciatica pain has only gotten me 1,200 miles over into Louisiana so I need to beeline it to Daytona for Bike Week which is starting Friday.

Wow...I didn't realize you were that close to Perry. Was there yesterday on my way to Tallahassee.

I was riding into a strong headwind and had to keep rolling to make Daytona Bike Week. It took 8 days averaging 287 miles/day.

OnG: I think we passed each other on I10.

It was a good turnout this year but the weather in the Daytona area was so-so.
