I didn't give ALL but I gave enough to earn the title of United States Veteran and the right to be an American Legionnaire.

Thanks guys, there are thousands of current and former Veterans involved in the biker community and lifestyle.

Most of the early MC clubs were founded by veterans and based on many of the core principles followed in the military.

These are 8 of them that apply to patched and unpatched bikers.

This guy does a decent job of explaining them:

              https://youtu.be/g8wUMf9srwE

Events like Rolling To Remember (previously Rolling Thunder) in Washington DC aim to keep attention on the lost POW-MIA Servicemen and Women who never came home.

There was a lot of support at Daytona Bike Week for all Veterans as well.

As a decorated United States Veteran I think it is my duty and obligation to make a public service announcement for folks to be careful with their real life dealings with people they meet online.

This is the two month anniversary of the incident that many have sought to squelch and prevent from being shared.

The perps name is inconsequential. The bottom line is to watch your back as you never know what can happen...

                Just the Facts:

                1. I was running the 3 Twisted Sisters in Leakey Texas 2/2021.

                2. I was going to head further south to avoid an approaching winter storm.

                3. An R3 member saw that I was in Texas and said they had cancer and needed assistance doing repairs to their Rocket.

                4. They assured me I would be able to stay until the winter storm passed.

                5. I rode 10 hours over two days out of my way to get to their home - mostly in damp, chilly and windy weather.

                6. I worked about 20 hours doing maintenance and researching part numbers for them.

                7. They made me leave during a 100 year record low cold spell after the first storm wave had passed with another one coming the next day with 100% chance of freezing rain.

                8. Texas was in a state of emergency and it was 19F degrees with a 6F standing wind-chill when I headed out.

It was well below zero on the motorcycle.

                9. The next two states east were also in a winter state of emergency. The estimated highs noted below were actually below freezing.

                10. My hands and toes were numb before I even left and I encountered ice, black ice and frozen salt-slurry slush as soon as I departed.

                11. On several occasions the bike tires and feet slipped on the ice. I spun on ice at one point and It was unsafe to continue.

                12. There is no doubt that I experienced physical, emotional, and financial pain.

                13. I was not provided hot coffee or burnt toast with half-melted cheese even though said host knew I was Diabetic.

Not even any assistance packing, a wave goodbye or a follow-up text or call to see if I was OK.

                14. As there was a massive power outage in Texas, many roads were closed - as were many hotels and gas stations.
It took me over 3 hours to find shelter from the bitter cold.

                15. I reported this in my R3O Moto Hobo blog.

                16. Rather than request that I edit the posts and tone them down, the censor chose to hack up or delete many of my and others members posts.

                17. To make matters worse, said censor went beyond what was needed and subsequently removed additional personal statements meant to warn others.

                18. After a few days ALL remaining posts regarding the dangerous situation I was put in were expunged to remove all posts mentioning this incident.

                19. Even “semi-private” messages mentioning the incident have since been deleted.

                20. I have since been further victimized by having my ability to participate in R3O "semi-private" Conversations revoked.

Every great trip has some good, some bad, and some ugly moments. This was the low point in my 5 decades of riding motorcycles.

Life is not all rainbows and unicorns!!

I was obviously not impressed with my hosts "Texas Hospitality" but will write it off as one-time non-typical incident.

"What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" may be true but it can also give you PTSD.

For some diabetics, stressful situations can raise/lower your blood sugar levels leading to blurry vision, muscle weakness or cramps, lowered mental aptitude etc. which in turn feed the problem.

It is not fun or advisable to ride like that on a nice day, let alone 3+ hours in sub-zero
wind-chill seeking shelter from a storm.

I almost had to find a bed in a public shelter a most hotels were without power. Note the lack of face covering in the photo below.

It's really f'd up that I became the bad guy on R3O for bringing this mistreatment to light so that others will trust their instincts if faced with a similar situation.

ID:	12892 No, I believe true Texans and Americans are above doing such a despicable act.

                    Final thoughts on tge subject:

                    A. Yes, my 79 year old cancer surviving mother wanted to drive to Texas to kick the PODS’s ass. I told her to stand down.

                    B. Said individual wanted to be part of my Moto Hobo Adventure storyline but ended up having it shut down with the assistance of another who insisted on rewriting history by covering up the inhumane treatment as it detracted from my happy tale.

                    C. Sadly, the R3O coverup allows the Texan to carry on like a normal human.

                    D. Almost as bad is that some people who know the whole story treat him as if they didnt know. Recent posts here indicate such. Quite sad indeed...

                    The End.

ID:	12979 Thank you but Don't get yourself in the dog house on my behalf.

Turbo told me about the ‘Where’s Tribal thread’ and the number of peeps wondering if I was OK and why I wasn’t updating my adventure blog. Wow.

It was locked before I could reply.

It looks like the R3O moderators are unified in their efforts to keep fucking with me.

Raz appears to have been coached as his closing comment is somewhat askew of the facts.

                      Lets break it down:

“ I am going to close this thread. “

--- Q. What possible harm would a post on the welfare of a member be and asking that he restart his trip blog?

“Tribal had a disagreement with another member and despite efforts to mediate the dispute he chose to stop updating his thread. “

---There was no disagreement, the fact that Mr & Mrs. Sheep put me in harms way is indisputable.

....See the Google map Timeline of the day they booted me out below showing a 3-hour odyssey trying to find shelter.

                      --- There was no mediation.
I asked that said :&@&(; be blocked from enjoying my trip report.

When they said it wasn't possible I restarted the blog in a PM Group but could only invite 15 guests.

I was trying to rotate VIP members in/out but when they discovered it they deleted the entire blog and revoked my ability to join PMs.
                      Over 100 photos & videos.
                      Click, Click, Boom - gone.

                      Go try to invite me😩😩

“and Our forum is not the place to air disputes between members and some posts that got a bit heated were removed.”

--- No dispute: a forewarning to others and at the end of the day it was (a bad) part of my journey.

Almost ALL of my and other members posts were rolled back to when I left Leakey to Houston.
Many had nothing to do with the incident he was/is trying to cleanse.

It created a Nixon Watergate-like gap in my storyline.

“ He is more than welcome to resume his thread should he so choose.”

--- Just not in a PM group!!!

It must be harder to monitor me there to see if I run my god damned mouth about the conscious-less pair.

Oh, and they have also deleted all of posting and activity history. New acctivity only lasts a couple of days now. Coincidence??
