Bike week Daytona

I've tried to live a good life, but if I knew with certainty that Hell was bike week in Daytona, I'd try even harder. My cousin has been bugging me to go for years, I knew it wasn't my scene, but he's basically my only male relative, he rides, and I don't see him often enough. And a friend that lives a mile from the beach and a mile from downtown invited us to stay.
I've never seen that much stupid concentrated in that small of an area, excepting, of course, the Democratic National Convention. Idiots revving their muffler-less bikes to 5000 rpm at every light, but almost drowned out by the guys playing rap , metal, and country on their 1000 watt stereos, all at the same time. Stop, go, stop, go, mile after mile, I think I burned a half tank of has without going 25 miles, I can't imagine this being people's idea of fun.
Only good thing was the girl watching, 80 degrees, lotta skin showing. And at my age, anything under 60 years and 200 lbs looks pretty good. 😉 Good to see my cousin, though

Went to a bar with live music Saturday night, friends of my buddy here, that was enjoyable. mobile ax throwing booth, lol, too funny.
