Fork Oil Change necessity and tweaking method to achieve your personal setting. Change your for oil every 5k miles?

Tyre pressure is another micotunning variable. I am surprised that the guy on the video does not check that when tuning a frame and controls on a bike. I have 444s set at +one line. That's about two turns from zero. The front has new seals, Progessives and #7 or 9 BellRay. Front and back @ 40psi of Texas air. The bike is ridding straight and feels perfect so im not going to mess with the froks settings from my tech. When I hit 65k miles, I'll change the fork oil, perhaps. One gets used to a soft suspension but the bike does not ride as well in the turns. I might loosen the pin bolts and main bolt and re-torque the calipers while they are sitting on the discs if the front tyre is not spinning loose.

I had my back end kick out in a tight turn, weird feeling, when I finally got ahold of a pressure guage, I had 22 front, 25 rear.

I have several, Dave and Dan also usually carry one, it just was an oddity, no one had one that day. IDK if it's the aluminum rims or what, why I lost 15 lbs pressure in both tires in 3 months, both my 4 wheeled vehicles have tpm systems, I doubt I have to top them off once a year.

Trips; been told that the valve service on the K bikes is PITA. It make people buy the R type. The F 800 motor is very nice. Willing to work quietly to the limiter.

I had a full service done on the K when I bought it, around 40,000 miles, it had unknown service history. I told the dealer to check the valves, he said that was unnecessary, they never go out for a long time, I insisted he check anyway. All in spec, worth the $100 charge

Took the 2Tone out today. Short 20 mile ride. The tank was empty and that attracts moisture. Way too much traffic for my comfort. Cool dry air gives the R3 a big boost. Perhaps Saturday morning it will still be 70s and we can ride again.
