Who can identify the pieces and tell the story that caused me to take this picture. Hint, I was doing maintenance and there is a missing 3rd piece somewhere in the neighbors yard.

Got me, it doesn't look like a clutch or throttle cable to me.

It's a clutch cable and you broke the thread mount? What are you, Hercules?

Two broken pieces of shit, dumb ass. I wouldn’t bother looking for the third piece.😉 Here’s your tip, pay someone else it’ll be cheaper.😅

My first impression was that was a magnetic grabbing tool

It is indeed the final drive drain plug and a telescoping magnet with the drain plug magnet stuck on the end of it. Did you know if you try to dimple that magnet to drill in the center it will pop right out and be lost in the bottom of the final drive? The missing 3rd piece was the bolt head of the drain plug, seems it was thrown after it broke off, and was last seen flying over the neighbors hedge.

I didn’t give you any shit about fork seals, I don’t think..But, I got the magnet out and did a makeshift plug with a cap screw and washers which I expect will hold until I get back from Utah, so I’m good!

Hahahaha, BREEZE, Sonny is a, fuck, IDK what he is, but he's something, for sure. I thought I had a small pecker, but his must be really tiny, lol.

It must have really weak threads, I think someone else did the exact same thing.

Here's a note about that final drive drain plug:

It's manufactured as a hollow bolt with a magnet inserted in the end of it. Because of this, it has very little resistance to being broken off. Think of how easy it is to crush a bolt that you've drilled through and easy-outed. If in the process of tightening it you manage to break it off, UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you attempt to center punch or drill out the bolt. Because of the way the magnet sits in the hollow bolt (see illustration) you will knock the magnet out of the bolt and into the oil reservoir, where it is extremely difficult to retrieve. Your best chance will be to get a short easy-out and take it out that way.
