OK, bike is apart now. Rear end did NOT shit the bed! My cousin, Sam's 2815 R3RX has only 20K miles!
Outside of final drive: Inside of final drive: see 360Β° gouge damage around aluminum case? Inside of final drive close up: Gouge went clockwise and locked up at 6 o'clock Rear wheel drive was the culprit. One nut came unwound, not off due to proximity of the housing (stud is bent) More to come later . . .
One of the dealers is going to contact Triumph for a extended warranty on account of this should never have happened.
We'll see. In a little crunch to get it back running for the July 8th ride to Spearfish.
Unfortunately I don't. It will have to be from a roadster (2010?) as they are a heavier duty unit than came on the earlier models. Hope you can find one.
1olbull I'm sorry I I do not have any roadster rear ends either. I'm thinking in my condition I could even lift one to hand it to you.
Warpo,
Gratitude for your response, Amigo.
I hope you are healing and improving.
I have had two responses, one from Barbie Kevin ((Widowmaker) and from Lon (Dealer).
Hopefully we can hook one up and get the X ready for Spearfish.
Wish you were coming to Spearfish and I wanna another drag race, this time on YurMama! π
