    forks

front left fork seal leaking should I just replace the seal or upgrade to those progressive I keep hearing about remember RAA West is coming up in2 weeks whats youre opinion?

Seal - there are some EXCELLENT Öhlins seals that are

    1) Better
    2) Cheaper.

The forks - upgrade the hydraulics. Not just the ruddy (pardon my French) springs.

It's not so much the oil as the cartridges they have to dampen. Traxxion Dynamics are, I believe, the US "bees knees". I have Maxton's in.

Hell yes Dave. If you go to the trouble to replace the seals then put the progressive springs in while the forks are off. Inexpensive upgrade and makes a ton of difference

I found the progressive springs to be a little better, but not a lot. Much cheaper than cartridges though

I guess mine felt like a big improvement when coupled with the better, heavier oil due to my 230 lbs and ride with Laura on the back and her massive 118 lbs

There is - if I can find it - a cheap solution (from the great Guru Wayne Tripp) - I'll have a look.

Try one of these to see if its just a piece of something causing the leak, warp used this at the rally in west va. On wendys forks and i believe it did the trick, may get it until you have the time to strip that front end. Well i cant attach a file so its the fork seal mate, a little tool that cleans the seal.
