Damn keyless ignition, I will say that now that DeCosse isn't making them anymore, it's just not for me, I'm going to re- hook-up the key, I replaced a perfectly good battery for nothing, I couldn't believe it would kill a good battery in a week so I bought a new battery. I checked the old battery after a month sitting on the shelf, still 90%. Having to keep it always on a tender and having to keep the fobs in the house is just too much trouble. I live rural, I normally never take keys out of ignition on any car or bike and I don't lock my doors.

I agree. Too much trouble for me. I normally work 2-3 weeks at a time, and have never needed a tender. I got the keyless for the 06 because of the key switch issue. Now I can't let it sit 4 days, even with a new battery. I'm about to toss it, and just run a toggle switch. The 12' R3R will probably be right behind it on the toggle upgrade.

Same here, I was damned if I was going to give Triumph $400+ dollars for another shitty ignition switch. But my problem actually turned out to be a bad coil in the end.
